At Happy Days Camp our mission is to create a fun, exploratory and safe environment for your children. Our #1 priority is your children’s safety. Happy Days Camp employs well-trained personel/staff working with the children to develop their interests and talents to their optimal potential. We follow a socially responsive practice. Andy Foss is a graduate of Queens College. He has degrees in History and Psychology, and a Master’s degree in Education. Andy has been involved with camps since he himself was a camper. As a young man, Andy attended camps, and formed strong relationships and had many positive experiences. These experiences carried over into his life as a young adult, as he became a waiter in the camp which he attended. Andy had a strong desire to foster the same environment that influenced him, and he continued working at camps as a young man and through adulthood.
Currently, Andy is a teacher for the New York City Board of Education, which he has been for the last 15 years. His passion for creating a positive environment for youngsters is something that remains strong to this day. He has gone up the different ranks of summer camps, starting as a waiter at a sleep away camp, and finally becoming a camp director for the last 10 years. Through all of his experiences, Andy created a vision of what he thinks a camp should be: a place that fosters caring, friendship, and strong bonds, as well as a safe, structured environment, surrounded by positive role models. From this vision, he and his partners have created Happy Days Summer Camp. Their main goal with Happy Days Summer Camp is to create the same camp environment that influenced Andy’s life years ago.

Dina is a graduate of NYIT College and possesses a degree in secondary education. She is a mother of two children and career-oriented women, who has spent the past ten years managing her family-owned catering business. Throughout the years, Dina has planned numerous festive, recreational events for children and adults of various age groups. Having graduated with a major in secondary education, it has always been a passion of hers to pursue and build on her educational background. Given Dina’s years of experience managing her family’s catering company, she has always aspired to own her own summer camp, which will strive towards maximizing children’s social-emotional development by building personal relationships as well as bringing out their inner strengths.
